Helping Sonder emerge from the shadow of its big brother Alpkit and giving them their own voice and vision, all based around creating new adventure laden stories on two wheels. The Sonder Storybook wrestles all members of the brooding, beautiful and boisterous family into one space for the first time - clearly defining each one’s raison d'être. It gives customers clarity in an increasingly fuzzy bicycle market, as well as the vital language with which to explain what and how they want to ride. All in a handy A5 perfect bound little black book.

Stories are a vital part of our lives. Some we hear, some are passed on to us but without doubt the best and most memorable are those that we create and live for ourselves. Sonder was born to inspire you towards these life defining and life enhancing stories written on two wheels.
Sonder was born out of Alpkit. That means enabling your adventures with expertly designed, irrefutably capable equipment is in our dna. Being a dynamic and proudly independent brand gives us the freedom to only bring you bikes we believe in. they are the bikes we love and the bikes you’re going to love riding.
In 2014 we launched with a range of three bikes, each conceived with guidance from hugely experienced Bicycle designers. In 2018 the sonder family is ten bikes strong. Each one created by our designer Neil Sutton and specifically built to widen your possibilities and get you out more, further and faster.
