Journey Magazine
How do the reindeer herders in the Cairngorms stay warm? Where does Corduroy come from and can it be made technical? Can a connection with place heal us and when is the right time to whip-out a Poncho. The first issue of Journey Magazine set out to answer all these questions alongside launching the Rohan Winter 2020 range. Produced under ‘lockdown’ pressure with the need to inspire and offer hope of better times to come.

Connection over conquest. Simple over complicated. Porridge power over petrol. In this issue we celebrate the human journey, and our interdependence with the planet.
Part of Our Landscape.
The focus of this issue was how deep connection with wild places can shape us. And the importance of nature during difficult times. Content features young women who are as tough as nails, guerrilla geographers who are mapping ‘Slow Ways’ through our cities and a fair smattering of punchy product launches. Each key editorial piece features a journey of some kind and an accompanying kit list - this includes but isn’t overwhelmed with Rohan gear.
Despite the toughest trading conditions the response to this new style of Rohan catalogue has been overwhelming. It has been an opportunity to build brand and sell kit in equal measure.
